Community Financial Bank and the Northwest Regional Planning Commission partnered together to assist Ken and Lorraine Kiefer in establishing Lakeside Villa, a new Community Based Residential Facility (CBRF) on Hwy 13 in Phillips across from Elk Lake.
Northwest Regional Economic Development Funds are being used in the purchase and renovation of the former Skyline Motel. Lakeside Villa plans to open its doors in the upcoming weeks and will offer assisted living and respite care, 24 hours per day, featuring private rooms each with a full bathroom. The project is expected to create up to 14 new jobs.
