Shauna Lindstrom joined the NWRPC team on May 3rd as our new Administrative Specialist. We are very excited to have her as the newest member of our staff and think she will be a great asset to the organization!
What qualifications and/or work experience do you have that pertain to your position at NWRPC? I have 23 years of office administration experience-the last 13 years in local government.
What attracted you to want to work with our organization? All the beneficial aspects provided to the area by the organization, the opportunity for career growth, long-standing reputation of the organization-both within the community/region and long-time employees, positive working environment. All these things make coming to work each day enjoyable!
What are you most proud of accomplishing in the past few years? My kids and their achievements over the years are my proudest accomplishments! I am also proud of the life-long relationships I’ve developed through my previous work experience(s) with volunteers, families, and co-workers I may not have crossed paths if had I not worked in the position(s).
What are your hobbies and interests outside of work? Spending time with family and friends, watching my kids’ sports and activities, traveling, reading, long walks, being outdoors. Spring and summer are my favorite seasons to enjoy all our Northwest area has to offer!
