The CDBG-EAP funds assist with activities directly related to damages incurred during the storms beginning July 11th and can be used for housing rehabilitation for low-moderate (LMI) income homeowners; business assistance to businesses that create or retain LMI jobs and repairs to public infrastructure in LMI communities.

Beginning on July 11, 2016 several homes, businesses and roads stretching across Ashland, Bayfield, Burnett, Douglas, Iron, Price, Sawyer and Washburn Counties sustained varying levels of damage due to flooding and high winds.

Homeowners, businesses and local units of government that sustained damaged from the storms beginning July 11, 2016 are encouraged to contact Kim Gifford - Housing Specialist, Northwest Regional Planning Commission at 715-635-2197 for more information or for an application to apply for assistance.
